Since you didn't answer my question on 'Battle angel' I'll ask you the same on this girl: Who is she?
Because I get the impression you use too well known photo's from models, which is in violation with the authors rights of the photographer.
And you should post a reference here.
The fact that the hands are a lot less realistic than body and face give me the idea you must have been using references. There's nothing wrong with that, but unless you have girlfriends who look like this, there must be someone elses photo's behind your work. You're obligated to tell who should get these credits.
Ow....and the shade makes it look like she wet her hotpants...

Other than that, your work is nice. A bit too smooth for my taste, but you can't please us all, can you?

I am somewhat familiar with X-Men characters and I also love the White Queen. But given that it's the White Queen, why didn't you go with a more meanish or cold look?

the hands are dark, but I hardly feel their "man hands" it looks like shes just been doing a tune up on the queenmobile.

Oh by the way Wasabi, I did some searching for who she was. All I know is the model's name is 'Zoe'...something. I don't think she is a very big name in the modeling industry.

But I think it's obviously a problem with her left hand,you should try to improve it cause overall the painting looks great and sexy, and small mistake like this can be disturbing

By the way just one crit, although you already mention the big manly hand, I just want to know about her right hand fingers, which is which can't figure it out But anyway good work

Just some crits here...

The shading for the hands is what is really off with the hands... the color is too dark whereas shading on fingers is a little more redish, less brown, for a white girl - esp as pale as her. They also look very flat, not soft like a woman's hands. Her left eye seems a bit too "lazy", seems like the eyeliner is really what's off - the bottom of her eyes, the eyeliner stops at different places, makes her eyes seem really off. Other than that..a few things here and there seem odd, but I didn't look at the reference picture. The anatomy seems too soft, like ARTOONATOR said, too smooth. Once the hands are fixed up, maybe trying to make them less detailed and smoother, this would be awesome.

Hi all, thanks for the great crits and kudos. Yeah this piece along with another 50 pieces are on the back burner of to fix list. Hopefuly in the next few months I can tweak the mistakes on this and have an updated version .

+9.0 you guys are way to pickie, perfection is in the mind of the eyes attached to it.

although, orting back to my old x-men comics, the white queen looks more like a porn star, not a hollywood teenstress, I dunno though she looks a lot older in the comics then she looks in your painting, and she has a much moredefined face....thats wrong, i'm at work its hard to think. if you used a model that looked more like ME no wait, looked more like nicole kidmen with blond hair or uncle jessie from full house, it would be much better.


hahaha keep up the good work, and yeah after a second look the thumb on the left hand looks....off..... its almost mechanical in its movement and pose, humans have a much sloppier way about them.
